Claudia Paz Lighting Studio from Lima, Peru was commissioned to redesign the courtyard of the Mega Plaza shopping center with their unique light concept. In close collaboration with the customer and the architects, a lighting solution was created to enhance this space. There should be something magical added, with regards to the many people who pass through this central place. At the central circulation, which connects the different areas of the mall, gobo projectors were mounted on the street light poles. These, according to the season, project different colored motifs on the floor: in the summer butterflies, in the spring blooms, at Christmas snowflakes, etc. Especially children interact playfully with the projected motifs.
